The AGG-MATE Shaw Leaf Remover is used to remove the outer layer of leaves on the fruiting canes of Shaw Swing Arm Trellis used, to produce dried grapes.
The AGG-MATE Shaw Leaf Remover's benefits include:
- Leaf removal is undertaken prior to cane cutting to increase drying emulsion penetration, drying rates and vision for mechanical cutting
- Available in single and double row units
- Covers approximately 3 acres per hour for a single row unit and 6 acres per hour for a double row unit
- Sections can be covered to provide selective leaf removal for better bunch exposure on wine grapes.
